Alternate Models

Bloodthirster: Here is the model I went for in place of a Bloodthirster model from GW.

I hate the Games Workshop one, It looks like a Bull who picked up an ax and has hemorrhoids.

I finally settled on Thagrosh the Messiah from Privateer Press. The model is gorgeous and easy to put together. It looks like it radiates hatred and evil bloodlust. Anyway here is the link:

Plaguebearers: I found some great models to use as Plaguebearers. Check these out:

I just purchased some direct from the website and with shipping 6 came to $30.00 US. Not bad at all. I'll post some pictures when I get them painted.

I also asked for the Cyclops alternative heads. They are free with them.

For my special Plaguebearers like those with Noxious Touch I purchased two of the Vomiting Blight Heroes and green stuffed some capes on them. I hope to have some pictures up soon. For now here is the pictures from Heresy Miniatures:




Fiends of Slannesh: Now I can’t stand the six booby horse models that Games Workshop provides. So in my search I finally settled on these:

I have already converted them and put them on new resin bases. I found that the plastic on these was very malleable after a bath in hot water and cutting through it was a breeze. I bought mine at www.thewarstore.com but see that they are out now.

Daemon Prince: Here is my next Daemon Prince (Princess). This model is beautiful and would kick but as a Slaneesh Daemon Prince or a Greater Daemon for Chaos Space Marines. Look at the picture, follow the kink and drool.
